A.It is the smell of kerosene used during the combustion test.All of our fan heaters undergo combustion testing.
After the combustion test, the kerosene is removed from the product and shipped. However, when the product is opened, there may be a slight odor of kerosene remaining on the surface inside the fuel cap.
