Q.How to identify water in kerosene

Failure Check / Laser Clean Heater (Unvented)

A.If moisture is mixed in the tank in which kerosene is stored, the moisture will also enter the fuel tank when it is refilled.

If moisture continues to accumulate in the filter section of the fuel sub tank, the moisture will cover the filter section and act as a lid, blocking the flow of kerosene. If the moisture is in the form of water droplets, it is easy to see if it is in the kerosene, but if it has accumulated to the point that it covers the filter, it may not be visible. In such cases, it is easier to check by lifting up the fuel sub tank. For details, please refer to “How to identify water in kerosene”

Caution.

However, the filter section is not water-repellent, so it is not able to catch all moisture. Moisture can permeate through gaps between the kerosene film and the film flow down to the fuel sub tank.
