Batteries past the recommended expiry date will deteriorate in performance and may interfere with ignition. Always use batteries for kerosene heaters that are within the recommended expiry date
The recommended expiry date is the period of time that the battery will operate normally if it is stored in an unused condition and started to be used within the stated period, and that the battery performance, such as the connection time, as defined by JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards), will be met. The expiry date is indicated on the main unit in the following order: ‘Month – 2 digits’ or ‘Month – year AD’.
